In this corner is global warming, and the other, ozone depletion. Nobel laureate, Paul Crutzen and others have promoted sulphite atmospheric injection, a process that artificially adds sulfite into the atmosphere for earth cooling. This process, modeled after a natural process caused by volcanic eruptions proved to be successful in cooling the earth 1 degree Fahrenheit after millions of tons of sulfur dioxide was spewed out of an erupting volcano.
Perfect you say...However, this geoengineering scheme is not without implications. At cold temperatures, sulfur interacts with chlorine gases created from CFCs and form molecules that destroy the ozone.
This geoengineering scheme is awesomely awkward!

I have been experimenting with a good way to manage status updates on Facebook.
Experiment 1: Install Twitter on Facebook and choose to update my Facebook status with tweets
Result: Are my Facebook friends really the same type of audience as Twitter followers?
Experiment 2: Install Spinvox
Result: Spinvox could not update Twitter because I couldn't authorize my account but it did work for Facebook status. Voice updates are really funny when mis-translated.
Experiment 3: Keep everything separate and update Facebook status using 32665 my mobile
Result: This service is not supported by T-Mobile
Finally, I send to Twitter through my mobile OR through Spinvox, then Twitter updates my Facebook status automatically. I am not happy with this solution but we will give it a try.
Perhaps due to my penchant for site-specific art, I find the one size fits all, streamlined, efficient model of status updates disappointing... The combination of these technologies without the ability for finer distribution control seems a production house for generic, non-specific status updates.

I came across this twitter mashup, Twittermeter
When searching for the following:
- who, what, where, when, why, how
and
- tomorrow, today, yesterday
The winners: how and today
The losers: where and yesterday

The first image is a watermelon vacuum sealed sous-vide style transforming it into a more fleshy ahi tuna-like texture.
The second are watermelons hip to being square. They are bound at birth by boxes the exact dimensions of a Japanese refrigerator.
The last image is the classic molecular gastronomy dish first made by Ferran Adria of El Bulli in Barcelona, melon caviar, is made using melon juice sodium alginate and calcium chloride. A food process that adds a skin to any liquid - kind of like that which suspends an egg yolk.
An interesting article on IP and molecular gastronomy techniques in the WSJ - old but still relevant...
where do I get one of this sulphite atmospheric injection? it's hell here read more
